How We Work

What we hold ourselves to

We build from a written scope rather than a template, and we would rather tell you early that a project does not need custom software than sell you one. When an off-the-shelf product genuinely fits, we will say so.

A performance target agreed up front

We set a Core Web Vitals budget with you at the start and build to it, instead of optimising once the site is already slow.

Security handled as part of the build

Input validation, parameterised queries, dependency patching and least-privilege access are part of the work, not a later add-on.

No lock-in at the end of it

Standard frameworks, documented deployment, and the repository handed over. Another team can pick the project up without us.

What we build

Business software that has to match how a company already works: internal tools, customer portals, dashboards, e-commerce, CRM and ERP workflows, and the integrations that connect them to systems already in use.

How it is built

Server-rendered applications on PHP and Laravel, React where an interface genuinely needs it, Flutter for cross-platform mobile, and MySQL as the default datastore. Established tools, chosen so the result is maintainable by somebody other than us.

What happens after launch

Security patching, dependency updates, backups and monitoring under a care plan, with the response time written into the agreement rather than implied by a badge on a page.

Our Philosophy

How we approach the work

You talk to the builder

The person answering your questions is the person writing the code. Nothing is relayed through an account manager who has to go and ask.

We will talk you out of it

If an existing product does the job, custom software is the more expensive way to get the same outcome. We would rather say that in the first call than six months in.

Nothing held hostage

The repository, the deployment steps and the credentials are yours. Staying with us for support should be a decision, not the only option you have left.

Who We Are

The people behind the work

A small team, which is the point. When you brief a project here, these are the people it goes to.

Vastavik Bajpai, Founder & CEO at Sloctech
Founder & CEO

Vastavik Bajpai

Vastavik started Sloctech to build software the way he thought it should be built: scoped honestly, priced in writing, and handed over with its source code. He is usually the first person a new client speaks to, and he still reviews the architecture on the work that goes out.

Anoop Maurya, Chief Technology Officer at Sloctech

Anoop Maurya

Chief Technology Officer

Anoop owns how things are built - the stack decisions, the data models, the review standard the team holds each other to. If a project has a hard technical call in it, it reaches him before it reaches production.

Ayushi Singh

HR & Marketing

Ayushi looks after hiring and how Sloctech talks about itself - who joins the team, what it is like to work here, and making sure what the site claims matches what the company actually does.

Rohit Verma

Delivery Manager

PLACEHOLDER. The delivery manager is the client's standing point of contact once a project starts - owning the scope document, the sprint cadence and the date, and raising a problem early rather than at the demo.

Kunal Srivastava

Lead Software Engineer

PLACEHOLDER. The engineering lead takes a signed scope and turns it into a build: breaking the work down, setting the patterns the rest of the team follows, and reviewing what goes to production.

Sneha Tiwari

UI/UX Design Lead

PLACEHOLDER. The design lead runs the work before any code is written - user flows, wireframes and a clickable prototype signed off on mobile and desktop, so the build starts from something the client has already seen.

Aman Yadav

QA & Test Lead

PLACEHOLDER. QA covers the part clients rarely see and always feel: test plans against the written scope, regression passes before a release, and the browser and device matrix a build is expected to hold up on.

Priyanshu Gupta

DevOps & Cloud Engineer

PLACEHOLDER. DevOps owns where the software runs - deployment pipelines, backups, monitoring and the server hardening that keeps a launch from being the last time anyone looks at the infrastructure.

Nikita Sharma

Business Development Manager

PLACEHOLDER. Business development handles the first conversation and the estimate, and is the person who will say when a project does not need custom software - which is the answer that keeps the rest of this list honest.

Ishan Dubey

SEO & Content Specialist

PLACEHOLDER. Search work here is an engineering job before it is a marketing one - site architecture, internal linking, structured data and Core Web Vitals - which is why it sits with the people who can change the build rather than alongside it.

We hire occasionally - see how we do it

Who We Work With

Businesses that have outgrown the off-the-shelf option

Most of the work starts the same way: a company is running something important on spreadsheets, on a product that nearly fits, or on a system nobody has been able to change for years. The process is already there and it works. What is missing is software that matches it.

That covers a fairly wide range - internal tools and admin systems, customer-facing portals, e-commerce, CRM and ERP workflows, SaaS products being taken to market, and AI or automation added to systems that already exist. If you are not sure which of those your project is, that is a normal place to start from.

Where we are, and where we work

Headquartered in Lucknow, India

The engineering team is based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. That is where the work is done and where the business is registered.

Clients across India and abroad

We take work from anywhere we can hold a reliable working relationship, and run remotely by default. Being in the same city is not a requirement.

A small team, on purpose

Small enough that the person you brief is the person who builds it. It is also why we are honest about capacity rather than taking everything that comes in.

Working with us from Lucknow

Tell us what you are trying to build

A senior engineer reads every enquiry and replies within one working day - with an honest answer about whether custom software is the right call for it.
